BOSE Launch New Solo 'One Small Speaker & Big Tv' Sound System

The Bose® Solo TV sound system reveals much more of the depth and detail you're meant to hear in your favorite programs. The kind of sound most flat panel TVs simply cannot reproduce from their internal speakers.

And with just one speaker and one connection, it couldn't be easier.
  • Wide, even sound throughout the room from Bose speaker array technology
  • More effects, music and dialogue, clearly and naturally, with proprietary digital signal processing
  • Single speaker fits neatly under your HDTV, no additional equipment needed
  • Extremely easy setup, with one connection to your TV and one plug to the wall

                                                      One speaker. One connection.

The Bose Solo system can be used as a stand for most TVs up to 37" and many up to 42". You can also set it below a wall-mounted TV, or on a shelf or media cabinet. It's an ideal choice for your main room or for use in a second room, such as the bedroom. Make one connection to the TV, plug the speaker into the wall and embrace a whole new experience in minutes flat. One listen, and you’ll realize there's more sound in your TV shows than you ever imagined.

 Packed with performance

All the sound you hear is made possible by advanced Bose speaker array technology. It reproduces a wide range of sound evenly throughout the room from a compact enclosure. And with proprietary digital signal processing, that sound is adjusted and optimized at any volume level. So when you're watching your show, there's no need to tweak the volume when a quiet moment suddenly becomes explosive.

Hear what you've been missing

They're your favorite shows: nighttime dramas, sitcoms, reality TV. And every one of these programs has a world of sound within. So take your "can't-miss-it" TV to the next level with the Bose Solo system, and enjoy the crisp, clear dialogue and subtle sound effects you've likely never noticed before. It will completely transform your everyday TV experience.
The Bose Solo system comes with a simple, four-button remote for volume, mute and power. A universal remote control is also available if you'd like to control other components connected to your TV.

PlayStation Power on an iPhone-like Device, branded Nvidia

You might already know that Nvidia showcased its latest chipset during the at Barcelona and it seemed to be running smoothly on a neat and good-looking device. It even faced the challenge of being connected to a 60 inch plasma screen display graphics that would even make a PlayStation console jealous.
PlayStation Power on an iPhone like Device, branded Nvidia

The fact is that Nvidia’s new device powered by the APX 2500 chip managed to run a high definition H.264 720p version of Monsters Inc. on the above-mentioned plasma screen. Place this baby at the heart of an iPhone and we’ve got pure gold and a device that’s good enough to bury any out there. In case you’re interested, here are the specs of Nvidia handset: Windows Mobile OS and a 65nm chip composed of 4 parts.
Among those, there’s an ARM 11 running the show at 750MHZ, then comes an audio/video core coding and encoding H.264 files and an imaging core with support for cameras with a 12 megapixel resolution. Last but not least of the APX 2500 cores is an OpenGL ES 2.0/Direct3D Mobile 3D graphics core, which gets the whole “PlayStation 2 resolution” thing going. The interface suited these specs perfectly, taking the iPhone UI to the next level, thanks to Mac OS X-style widgets and a carousel interface.

Think we’ll see a handset powered by chip to one-up this beauty coming from TI and Qualcomm? I doubt it…

Acer launch Acer CloudMobile Smartphone at MWC

There are number of beautiful Android handsets available in the market but not all of them are attractive enough to catch your eye. I personally believe that Xperia Arc is probably the most beautiful smartphone yet, but it seems that I might need to reconsider that. Acer is planning to launch the Acer CloudMobile at the Mobile World Congress, which is an amazing phone with jaw-dropping design, as you can see the image above, it will make you fall in love with the design. The device won iF design award and it will be launched around Q2-2012 in North America and China first, then later in other countries.
DigiTimes also reported that it will come with Android 4.1 Ice Cream Sandwich, an 10mm thick design, featuring a 4.3 inch HD (1280 x 720) display, 1.4GHz dual-core processor, HSPA+, and Dolby Mobile sound. As the name suggests, it will come with Acer Cloud service, which will be revolutionary move for Acer. We hope to see it at Mobile World Congress because we will be covering the event.
Well folks, tell us what do you think about this device in the comment box below.

iDesk Concept Revives the Microsoft Surface With an Apple Twist

Remember the Microsoft Surface technological table? This concept was forgotten a while ago, but some people are fond of it, like Adam Benton who created an equivalent in the Apple universe, the iDesk concept. Published on Maclife, this design features a huge chunk of touchscreen being used as a workaholic’s desk, with the ability to sync to all of the iDevices on the table.

iDesk Concept Revives the Microsoft Surface With an Apple Twist

This device is able to sync with any iOS gadget placed on it and it doesn’t even need a mouse, as the whole touch area is a giant trackpad. You can make calls, edit Office documents, view Adobe files and watch vides straight on the iDesk. This huge workspace also seems to project a virtual mouse and maybe keyboard too, unless you like the normal one. I guess you can also scan pictures with it and instantly post them online, if it’s not too much to ask. This desk could either have a Mac built in or connect to one that you already own.
All content is synced within iCloud and kept up to date with all your other devices. You can also move around the stuff you need, like on a real desk… For example, you can move the Facebook statuses aside, open a YouTube video, resize a picture, check an email and open a new document, all of that while drinking coffee. Would you buy such a device even if cost… let’s say $2000 or $3000?

Fujitsu Laptop Concept Is Also a Camera, a Phone, a Tablet

Prashant Chandra proposes to us a concept for a Fujitsu laptop, that integrates a handset, a camera and a tablet. This Lifebook device is basically a laptop, that uses a camera that can detach itself from the basic gadget, as can do the slate and the handset. The slate is actually the virtual keyboard that can be integrated via pins (16 pin connector).

Fujitsu Laptop Concept Is Also a Camera, a Phone, a Tablet

The Fujitsu laptop concept doesn’t have its own keypad, so it relies on the tablet for this purpose. The tablet, once inserted into the laptop it displays a QWERTY keyboard and can probably be used as a secondary display and maybe as a larger touchpad or maybe even a gaming control area. Hardware sharing is not an idea that has been applied with success so far and among the advances we find a single point charging for all devices and lack of wires, as everything syncs easily with each other.
The tablet can also enter sketch mode, so it can be used to draw stuff and become a useful tool for designers. The camera on this Lifebook device looks particularly cool and the entire laptop also seems to have a variety of ports, it supports WiFi, Bluetooth and most likely has an Intel Core iX CPU inside, if I were to guess. The display diagonal should be around 13 to 16 inches.

Bang & Olufsen and BeoSound AMG S-Class

BeoSound AMG S-Class

The sound of luxury
Bang & Olufsen has produced another masterpiece of acoustic and aesthetic excellence for the latest generation of S-Class luxury saloons, aptly named the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system.

The BeoSound AMG sound system in the S-Class has been specifically designed to match the simple, clean lines of the newly restyled Mercedes-Benz S-Class. From illuminated acoustic lenses that blend seamlessly with the doors to matt-finish, aluminium loudspeaker grilles mounted at the front and rear, the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system surrounds you in finely crafted, Bauhaus-inspired elegance.

As well as being aesthetically inspiring, the design of the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system reflects Mercedes-Benz’s unrivalled commitment to safety. For example, every loudspeaker had to pass an extensive range of crash tests before being validated for use in the S-Class. By redesigning the rear acoustic lenses with a rounded top edge and a soft rubber finish, Bang & Olufsen was able maintain the sound experience while meeting Mercedes-Benz’s stringent safety requirements.

Your very own concert hall performanceWhen you turn the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system on, the four acoustic lenses positioned at the front and rear illuminate as if orchestrating the performance you are about to experience. As perfectly reproduced sound fills the cabin, you are unaware of the advanced audio technology at work behind the scenes.

The 15 active, high-performance loudspeakers are much more than just a showcase of aesthetic design: the large holes machined into the grilles help to improve acoustic performance by moving the air emitting from them more effectively, while the four acoustic lenses distribute sound in a way that gives a greater sense of space, staging and realism.

The sound of luxury
Bang & Olufsen has produced another masterpiece of acoustic and aesthetic excellence for the latest generation of S-Class luxury saloons, aptly named the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system.

Design befitting a luxury brandThe BeoSound AMG sound system in the S-Class has been specifically designed to match the simple, clean lines of the newly restyled Mercedes-Benz S-Class. From illuminated acoustic lenses that blend seamlessly with the doors to matt-finish, aluminium loudspeaker grilles mounted at the front and rear, the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system surrounds you in finely crafted, Bauhaus-inspired elegance.

As the performance continues, the 750 watt high power and low consumption ICE Power amplifier works with the 450 watt Digital Signal Processor amplifier to effortlessly deliver stunning 7.1 channel surround sound to the loudspeakers. The S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system also has the ability to focus the sound to passengers sitting in the front or the rear – an important feature in a luxury saloon such as the Mercedes-Benz S-Class.

Perfect sound at any speedBang & Olufsen sound engineers spent months perfecting the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system. The result of their efforts is impressive: regardless of speed or driving conditions, you will always enjoy the perfect sound experience, thanks in part to a technology called Dynamic Road Noise Compensation. Using a microphone mounted in the cabin, this technology constantly analyses interior sound levels and automatically adjusts the volume and character to deliver the best-possible experience at all times.

Privacy assuredThe 15 loudspeakers are mounted in special closed cabinets that reduce structural vibration in the car when playing music at high volume levels. The closed-cabinet design minimises sound dispersion, which means that the music and phone calls you enjoy in the car, stay in the car. Not only does the closed cabinet design ensure a more consistent sound experience, it helps keep your confidential phone calls from being heard by those standing just outside your window.

The unrelenting quest for technical excellence and an uncompromising commitment to quality, innovation and high performance has resulted in the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system. Available on all S-Class Mercedes-Benz and AMG models and standard in the S65, the S-Class BeoSound AMG sound system is the quintessence of outstanding design and sound perfection.

Bang & Olufsen high-end Surround Sound system

The BMW 6 Series Convertible is equipped with the innovative Bang & Olufsen high-end Surround Sound system. It causes supreme listening pleasure and a magnificent driving sensation to merge into one unique experience.

The Bang & Olufsen high-end Surround Sound system for the BMW 6 Series Convertible
is the first in-car sound system to feature in a BMW Convertible. This latest high-end audio system conforms once again to the style, sophistication and exacting precision that consumers around the world have come to expect from Bang & Olufsen and BMW.

High-end sound meets high-end technology
With 12 active loudspeakers powered by 1,000 watts of power, the Bang & Olufsen high-end Surround Sound system for the BMW 6 Series Convertible has all the power it needs to deliver rich, convincing sound. Each of the five tweeters is paired with a mid-range loudspeaker to deliver a homogeneous sound experience, while the two potent subwoofers located under the front seats are mounted directly to the body of the car. This BMW-patented design eliminates vibration from the subwoofers to produce an even cleaner sound.

The patented Bang & Olufsen Acoustic Lens Technology also plays its part, distributing sound horizontally with 180ยบ of dispersion to give the best possible acoustic experience from anywhere in front of the speaker. On closer inspection, the acoustic lens cover reveals an additional mid-range loudspeaker that delivers perfectly balanced sound throughout the cabin.

Under the skin, the sound system also uses advanced technology to help you get the most from the generous power available. One such technology is Dynamic Sound Optimisation, which uses sound data gathered from a microphone mounted in the cabin to constantly adjust the sound according to conditions outside the car, such as rain and changing road surfaces.

For the new convertible, an additional sensor automatically instructs the DSP to adapt the sound performance to suit the altered ambient cabin conditions, whenever the soft top is raised or lowered.

In addition, two distinct sound modes integrated into the all new system create two quite different sound experiences. Studio Mode produces a wonderfully vibrant sound stage that reproduces sound as the artist intended, while the new Expanded Mode widens the sound stage to give passengers the impression that they are in a much larger space.

High-end design
The distinctive design of the Bang & Olufsen high-end Surround Sound system for the BMW 6 Series Convertible is a perfect fit for its superlative sound. With a clean, yet characteristic style, the design of the sound system is seamlessly integrated into the BMW interior design approach. The sound system features a range of impressive design features that discerning consumers have come to expect, including the Floating Frame solid aluminium grilles. Special mountings separate grille from frame to create the illusion that the grille is floating in mid-air. The open space between the grille and frame is used to create one of the most dramatic features of the design: When the system is activated, small LEDs hidden inside the frames turn on to highlight the loudspeakers in light – an effect you must experience for yourself!

The combination of light and sound is most impressively demonstrated by what happens when the system is activated. A loudspeaker grille in the centre of the dashboard silently lifts to reveal the large acoustic lens while the embedded LED lights simultaneously turn on – a process we call Orchestration.

The unique design characteristics of the sound system don't end there. The solid aluminium grilles positioned around the interior of the BMW 6 Series Convertible feature ‘Perl Glanz’ (Pearl Gloss) colour and large-diameter, machine-drilled holes that appear to be perfectly aligned from any angle. As well as maximising airflow through the grilles, the large holes and overall grille appearance match the distinctive, clean lines of the BMW 6 Series Convertible interior. For an added touch of refinement, the Bang & Olufsen name has been laser engraved onto the surface of the majority of the grilles.

Sound development
During development of the Bang & Olufsen high-end Surround Sound system for the BMW 6 Series Convertible, sound engineers spent many hours inside the car, painstakingly fine-tuning the sound performance to perfection. Whether the car was standing still, driving at high speed on a secret closed circuit track or winding through country lanes with the roof down, the system was adjusted to suit every real-world driving condition with incredible precision.

Evolving in-car audio
The dedicated styling and advanced technology integrated into the Bang & Olufsen high-end Surround Sound system for the BMW 6 Series Convertible is an example of how years of experience within high end home audio can be applied to equally impressive effect to an in-car environment. But don't take our word for it. Visit your local BMW dealer from fall 2011 on and experience the system for yourself.

New Launches - Bang & Olufsen launches New BeoVision 10

With new visual expression

Bang & Olufsen’s highly acclaimed TV concept, BeoVision 10, is now offered in a new variant, which gives the TV a whole new visual expression. The new version of BeoVision 10, which is characterised by a black high gloss polished aluminium frame in combination with a new red fabric front colour, can be placed on the floor thanks to the new easel stand, which makes the TV lean back in a casual way - as a painting on an easel.

The black high gloss frame is offered as an alternative to the standard high-gloss natural aluminium frame. Whereas the natural aluminium frame takes up the colour of the wall and becomes almost invisible, the black frame merges with the black screen in a way that makes the surface stand out from the wall. The combination of the black frame and the red front cover emphasizes the contrast and sculptural effect of the TV and signals warmth, strength and comfort at the same time.
The existing placement options for BeoVision 10, i.e. wall placement and floor placement on motorised stand, are now extended with the new easel stand. The new easel stand will be available for all TV sizes (32”, 40” and 46”), with either a black or white rear plate to match the selected cabinet and aluminium spikes that secures a light expression.
The new variant of BeoVision 10 is available in Bang & Olufsen stores worldwide.
